We've spent our careers on the inside of HR departments — running payroll for hundreds of employees across dozens of states, managing benefits renewals, untangling HRIS systems, and building the policies that keep growing companies compliant and human at the same time. We started K&K because we saw how many businesses need that same level of expertise but don't need — or can't yet support — a full internal HR department. So we brought our experience to them instead.
Kara brings Director-level experience in payroll, benefits, and HRIS, built across a multi-state organization with hundreds of employees. She specializes in multi-state payroll compliance, benefits administration, HRIS implementation, and turning messy HR data into clear, actionable reporting. If it touches ADP Workforce Now, payroll accuracy, or a policy that needs rethinking, it's her sweet spot.
Kristen is Kara's longtime HR partner-in-crime, bringing complementary strengths across process, people, and problem-solving.
